About Us
Something In Common is a counted thread design business located in Wausau,
Wisconsin.
We offer for sale the designs of Barbara Peterson but over the years we have
also included designs from several other designers. Meg Seddon of
Colorado Springs, Colorado has designed a beautiful band sampler called The
Bee's Garden and Susie Passmore of Dover, Massachusetts is
the designer of our moth designs... Moment
With a Moth and Eri Silk Moth.
We are also pleased to have worked with renowned artist, Sandy
Austin Stein of Santa Rosa, California. She has allowed Barbara to
adapt several of her Native American children's paintings to needlework.
The designs you see here today can be purchased retail via this website and we

As we look ahead, our publishing may slow down but our current catalog will be
available for many years to come. We are contemplating offering different
