Something
In Common's premier pattern entitled, "Count Your Blessings,"
has been one of my favorites from the start. I decided to show some
of the things I collect...lanterns, pie birds, wash boards and other
antiques. All are reminiscent of a time long ago.
Young
Eliza Thomas of Media, Pennsylvania used the touching verse in this
pattern in her 1804 sampler. I think you'll agree that the sentiment
is as true today as it was back then.
"How
Great The Blessing, And How Vast The Art, To Live On Little, With A
Thankful Heart."
